Two-month check-up

Alinda went to doctor for her 2-month check-up last Friday.
Of course it started with the routine of measuring head size, weight and height. Her head size still stays at the 90th percentile, with height and weight at 50th - which are the same from last (more…)

Angel or Devil?

Yesterday was one of those baby-drive-everyone-crazy days (Alinda’s version of it probably is just another I-only-want-mommy day). We checked to make sure everything was ok, but Alinda just kept crying constantly. It took so long to comfort her down, and yet she started crying again in just minutes. Worst of all, she only wanted mommy - so as much as grandparents were helping out, it still became an especially tiring day for me - shifting among working, feeding her and holding her, and barely slept last night. Guess our cute little angel is really a little devil who drives people mad at times as well…So the irritated mom decided to post up a picture of the evil-looking Alinda. (I wasn’t going, but after yesterday, I changed my mind - for obvious reason). In fact, I am really tempted to photoshop it to put the little devil ears on for her …

(but wait, actually, even the evil-looking Alinda still looks really cute, isn’t she?)

First Christmas

This is the first Christmas for Alinda.
We went to friend’s place for dinner on Christmas Eve, and just stayed home on the Christmas day - didn’t want to take our little Alinda outside too much in the cold yet. It’s nice to spend time with family for the holiday, and we did dresse Alinda up in Christmas oufit to celebrate ^_^

狡兔三窟

媽媽說狡兔要有三窟,所以趁著新一年的開始,我的第三窟~中文版博客枳彤居在今天落成了 (第二窟則是機密 ) 雖然很多地方仍有待修改,但大家有空請多去坐坐~

Full Month Dinner

Time flies. Alinda’s already a month old on Dec 15th.
To celebrate, we went out to have dinner with everyone in the family.

This is also Alinda’s first trip going out other than going to see the doctor. Instead of falling asleep after feeding like she usually does, she stayed wide awake the whole time, with her eyes rolling around exploring. Looks like she’s really curious with the change in environment.

And amazingly, she didn’t cry at all - with us passing her around, taking turns to take pictures with her - guess she knows it’s a celebration for her ^_^

Oh, Alinda showed her first “awake smile” at the dinner, and grandma was the lucky one holding her at the time - maybe a compensation to her naughty act earlier in the afternoon - peeing on grandma’s lap during bath time…

Baby Alinda is here!

After over 24 hours of labor, our baby Alinda’s finally here on November 15! And after days of recovering (plus getting used to the chaos of feeding and diaper-changing of course), I finally squeezed out some time and energy to put her birth annoucment, as well as some photo together to share. Check-up (Nov 6)

Another week has passed, and today is the check-up day again.

Instead of continuing my weight hike, I actually lost 1/2 lbs comparing to last week :-O

Check-up (Oct 30)

The next check-up was supposed to be on Friday, but with all the paperwork needs to be done with HR on the leave and telcommuting, I have it moved up to today.
